Ohsaurus (Webelotrax) Zer0 れい does a magnificent job swirling together influences from Vaporwave, Mallsoft, Industrial Techno and Dark Ambient – crafting something quite unique and energetic. Favorite track: 煙幕 (Smokescreen).

Eis-T This album is an athmospheric, blade-runneresque journey filled with warm, melodic analog synths pitched against distorted downtempo 808 high-hats. Haunted, exciting, gritty, moving. Think: birth of a new day meets selected ambient works.

maggie A superb fusion between what sounds like a post industrial Vengelis and Tangerine Dream in full film score mode. Post-Mallsoft at its very best. With Zer0’s continued experimentation with samples in other works, I can’t wait to see if he combines this level of solid architectural MIDI compositions with further surreality. Black Magic is a high mark for the artist, and as he continues to expand his sound palettes, that mark is sure to raise more than a few notches. Favorite track: Meat Locker.
